Lohri Festival Celebration
Lohri festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy in our school with the active participation of teachers and students. The celebration aimed to make students aware of the cultural importance and traditional values of this harvest festival. The programme began with a brief introduction explaining the significance of Lohri, which marks the end of winter and the beginning of the harvest season. A ceremonial bonfire was lit in the school premises, symbolizing warmth, prosperity and the spirit of togetherness. Teachers and students gathered around the bonfire and offered traditional items such as popcorn, peanuts, sesame seeds, jaggery and rewri into the fire as a mark of gratitude to nature
